President Joe Biden has laughed off Donald Trump’s praise of Russian President Vladimir Putin by bringing up Trump infamously declaring himself “a very stable genius.”
“I put as much stock in Trump saying that Putin’s a genius as I do when he called himself a stable genius,” Biden said according to The Independent.
Trump this week hailed the Russian dictator as “very smart” and blamed Biden for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“[Putin] now he sees the weakness and the incompetence and the stupidity of this administration,” Trump said on Tuesday during an interview with Fox News host Laura Ingraham before recycling his false claims about the 2020 election.

“As an American, I am angry about it and I am saddened by it. And it all happened because of a rigged election,” Trump added.
On Wednesday, Trump continued praising Putin as “very smart”, for taking over a country for “$2 worth of sanctions.”
“I’d say that’s pretty smart,” Trump said according to The Independent.
