AOC Responds To Paul Gosar’s ‘Fantasy Video’ About Killing Her

On Monday evening, Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) shot back at Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ), who shared an anti-immigrant anime video that shows him killing Democratic congressman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, prompting condemnation and calls for his expulsion from Congress and for Twitter to suspend his account.

The 90-second video shared by Gosar shows an anime image of the Arizona Republican attacking migrants who are walking and wading through water, along with blood splatter effects on the screen. He then hovers around a giant with Ocasio-Cortez’s face photoshopped on before the anime character launches into the air and comes down, slicing the back of the giant’s neck, killing it.

The tweet prompted a fierce backlash against the controversial lawmaker with many calling for his expulsion from Congress and for his Twitter account to be suspended.

For her part, Ocasio-Cortez issued a forceful response, accusing Gosar of “fundraising for Neo-Nazis” and calling out House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy for refusing to condemn Gosar’s violent rhetoric.

“So while I was en route to Glasgow, a creepy member I work with who fundraises for Neo-Nazi groups shared a fantasy video of him killing me, And he’ll face no consequences bc
@GOPLeader cheers him on with excuses.” she said in her tweet.
