Donald Trump’s latest rally in Ohio took an embarrassing turn Wednesday when an activist interrupted the president’s speech with a mocking song targeting his past association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Just moments after Trump began speaking in Chillicothe, Ohio, activist Robert Potylo launched into a chant that quickly drowned out the rally’s usual political theater.
Singing to the tune of the Village People’s “YMCA,” Potylo repeatedly belted out, “TRUMP WENT ON THE JEFFREY EPSTEIN PLANE!” as the crowd booed.
“Butterscotch shitler! Pumpkin spice pedo!” Potylo shouted, repeating the mocking refrain as Trump supporters struggled to drown him out.
Security eventually escorted the heckler from the building and turned him over to local police. But by then, the interruption had delivered exactly the kind of viral moment Potylo has built his online following around.

The outburst also put Trump’s association with Epstein back in the spotlight. The disgraced financier, who died in federal custody in 2019 in what authorities ruled a suicide, had a close relationship with Trump. Their past connection has remained a source of scrutiny as questions surrounding the Epstein files and the government’s handling of records continue to draw attention.
Potylo, who goes by Robby Roadsteamer on social media, told HuffPost after the rally that the confrontation briefly turned physical when a Trump supporter knocked his phone out of his hand.
“One of the fucking shit-clowns knocked my phone out of my hand,” Potylo said.
He explained that he had to retrieve the phone from underneath a bench because he feared supporters would prevent him from getting it back.
Potylo also said he had shaved his beard for the first time in 20 years in hopes of avoiding recognition by security or Trump supporters. His history of heckling prominent MAGA figures made him wary of being identified before he could make his move.
And he had no intention of sitting through an hours-long Trump speech just to get his moment.
“I don’t want to fucking listen to him,” Potylo told HuffPost, explaining that he typically tries to interrupt his targets within the first few minutes of their remarks.
He cited previous confrontations involving former Trump adviser Steve Bannon and conservative activist Charlie Kirk, saying he prefers to act early rather than endure an entire speech.
Potylo made headlines in 2024 when he heckled Bannon at a press conference shortly after the former White House chief strategist was released from prison.
“When’s the next insurrection?” Potylo shouted. “Can we storm the Burger King after this?”
Trump, meanwhile, dismissed the Ohio heckler as a “paid protester,” claiming Potylo had received $250 to show up at the rally.
Potylo pushed back on that characterization, saying that he received substantially more than that in donations after footage of the interruption spread across social media.
The latest interruption was another reminder that Trump’s past ties to Jeffrey Epstein continue to haunt him, and aren’t going away anytime soon.
