California Governor Gavin Newsom has once again triggered Fox News — this time by selling a $100 Bible as part of his latest trolling campaign aimed at Donald Trump and the MAGA crowd.

Newsom’s “Patriot Shop,” a collection of sarcastic political merchandise, features everything from “Newsom was right about everything” hats to mugs labeled “Newsom 2026.” But the item that really lit a fire under Fox News? A faux-MAGA-style Bible that was quickly marked sold out.

Will Cain, host of The Will Cain Show, blew up on-air Monday over Newsom’s tactics.

“He seems to have found ground, legs with the left by mocking President Trump,” Cain said. “Like the ChatGPT personality, he’s just borrowing now from President Trump, copying his style with X post, now he’s even going for his own MAGA-style merch.”

Cain continued: “He even has a Bible priced at $100, and he tweets out ‘already sold out.’ His personality is just a shadow. Shadows on the wall, a Xerox copy of others… but that works on the left.”

Newsom didn’t back down. In fact, he used Cain’s outrage as more fuel for his campaign. “Thank you for the promotion of our ‘FANTASTIC’ Patriot Shop, @WillCainShow!!!!!” he posted on X.

The store also features a T-shirt showing Newsom glowing like a saint, surrounded by MAGA icons including Tucker Carlson, Hulk Hogan (complete with angel wings and halo), and Kid Rock. Another item is a tank top that reads, “Trump is not hot.”

Newsom’s campaign is part mockery, part media trap—and it’s working. His over-the-top religious-themed merch and AI-powered memes take direct shots at Trump’s brand of messianic self-promotion and the right-wing’s moral high ground.

Fox News hosts aren’t hiding their frustration. Dana Perino begged Newsom’s wife to stop his social media antics: “You have to stop it with the Twitter thing.” Sean Hannity accused him of having a “performative confrontational style,” while Trace Gallagher called it all “childish.”

Trump, never one to sit out a grudge, weighed in himself. “Gavin Newscum is way down in the polls,” he wrote on Truth Social. “He is viewed as the man who is destroying the once Great State of California. I will save California!!! President DJT.”

Newsom’s trolling is clearly hitting nerves — and it’s keeping his name in the headlines.
