California Governor Gavin Newsom is going full tilt in his campaign to troll Donald Trump — and this time, he’s doing it with MAGA-style merch.
Newsom just dropped a new line of products that look like they came straight from a Trump rally. The collection, called The Patriot Shop, includes a bright red hat that screams: “Newsom was right about everything!” There’s also a tank top that says “Trump Is Not Hot,” and a T-shirt showing Newsom being “blessed” by Kid Rock, Tucker Carlson, and the late Hulk Hogan — a wild jab at Trump’s circle of diehards.
And he didn’t stop there.
In a clear swipe at Trump’s infamous $60 “God Bless the USA” Bibles, Newsom put autographed Bibles on sale for $100 — though they were labeled “sold out.” He also posted a flag that reads “Make America Gavin Again,” a direct parody of Trump’s signature slogan.
Then came the all-caps trolling post on X (formerly Twitter): “SOON ‘MAGA’ WILL HAVE A WHOLE NEW MEANING! COMING SOON FOR YOUR NEXT BOAT PARADE! YOU ARE VERY WELCOME, PATRIOTS!”
Newsom recently told MeidasTouch that he’s on a mission to “put a mirror to Trump.” It’s working.
Trump fired back from the Oval Office, saying: “The governor is incompetent. I know Gavin very well. He’s an incompetent guy with a good line of bullshit, and he doesn’t get the job done.”
The governor’s trolling is clearly getting under Trump’s skin — and that might be exactly the point.
