President Donald Trump is threatening ABC News over its reporting on a private jet coming from Qatar, slamming the network for reporting that the plane is a gift to him personally.

“Why doesn’t Chairman Bob Iger do something about ABC Fake News,” Trump posted on Truth Social, calling out the Disney CEO who oversees ABC.

Trump was reacting to ABC’s coverage of a Boeing 747 jet reportedly coming from the Qatari government. ABC described it as a gift to Trump, something he says is completely false. He says the jet is not for him but for the U.S. military.

“I again give these SleazeBags fair warning,” Trump wrote. “The wonderful country of Qatar, after agreeing to invest more than 1.4 Trillion Dollars in the United States of America, deserves much better than Misleading (Fake!) News.”

“Everyone, including their lawyers, has been told that ABC must not say that Qatar is giving ME a FREE Boeing 747 Airplane, because they are not,” he added.

According to Trump, the jet is going to the U.S. Air Force or the Defense Department—not to him. “This highly respected country is donating the plane to the United States Air Force/ Defense Department, AND NOT TO ME,” he wrote.

Trump also brought up a previous legal fight with ABC. He reminded followers that ABC paid him a large settlement last year after anchor George Stephanopoulos wrongly claimed he had been convicted of sexual assault. ABC later retracted the comment and apologized.

Trump has repeatedly gone after media outlets he believes treat him unfairly. During his second term, he has pushed the FCC to investigate news networks and has refused to take questions from certain reporters.
