Cody Dallas Reed, a corrections officer at the Arizona State Prison Complex in Safford, has found himself on the opposite side of prison bars following his arrest on charges related to child molestation and pornography in Georgia.

Reed, 24, a self-described Trump supporter, was taken into custody on Tuesday, August 8, based on allegations of child molestation and the transmission of explicit adult content through photography or video depicting nudity, as revealed by the local news outlet Gila Herald.

The Graham County Sheriff’s Office received the arrest warrant for Reed, prompting deputies to apprehend him at the prison premises on Tuesday. He was subsequently incarcerated at the Graham County Adult Detention Facility. As of Monday, August 14, Reed remains detained at the facility, awaiting extradition to Georgia.

Ironically, Reed had previously shared an image on his Facebook profile advocating for the use of lethal force to combat pedophilia. The image depicted two bullets within a magazine, accompanied by the phrase “Cure for Pedophilia.”
