Trump Invokes ‘Great Anger’ In Manic Speech Whining About Criminal Probes

Former President Donald Trump held a rally in Wilmington, North Carolina, on Friday, where he declared that he’s “not a terrorist” before warning of “great anger” in the US if he is indicted. He also took time to berate New York Attorney General Letitia James, who has filed a massive fraud lawsuit against the Trump Organization.

According to New York investigators, “Trump falsely inflated his net worth by billions of dollars to further enrich himself and cheat the system” and “repeatedly and persistently manipulated the value of assets to induce banks to lend money to the Trump Organization.”

During his speech on Friday, Trump called James “racist” and referred to her actions as “gross prosecutorial misconduct.”

“This crazy radical leftist nutjob James should be going after the killers, the gangbangers, the drug dealers,” Trump complained.

The attorney general is accusing him, his children, and the Trump Organization of years of financial fraud. The case is just one of many legal problems Trump faces, including the investigation into mishandled classified documents at Mar-a-Lago and the probe into the January 6 insurrection.

Trump, who is the subject of multiple criminal investigations in Washington DC and Georgia, also accused the Biden administration of taking FBI resources “away from fighting crime and using them for partisan political investigations” in hopes of “falsely label[ing]” his “Make America Great Again” movement.

“They want to call us domestic terrorists,” Trump told the crowd. “Can you believe it? I’m not a terrorist”.

Trump then warned of “great anger” in the US over the multiple investigations into his conduct and the conduct of his supporters, as well as the ongoing FBI efforts to bring to justice anyone who broke laws during the January 6 2021 riot he incited.

“Never forget all of this torment. persecution and oppression is not happening because of anything we’ve done wrong,” he said.

Trump’s remarks appeared to be in response to President Joe Biden’s recent speech in Philadelphia, during which he described Trump’s Maga movement as “extreme and dangerous.”
