Trump Whines About ‘Good Old Days’ As He Slams Fox News For Running ‘Horrible’ Ads About Him

Former President Donald Trump spent at least part of his weekend ranting at the TV and slamming Fox News for running “horrible and untruthful” ads about him.

“What good is it if FOX News speaks well of me when they continually allow horrible and untruthful anti-Trump commercials to be run — and plenty of them,” Trump said in a statement. “In the good old days, that would never have happened and today it happens all of the time.”

He added: “Ratings-challenged CNN and MSNBC would never run a positive Trump ad—never,” the former president said. “With so many forces against us, Big Tech, the Fake News Media, the Radical Left, the RINOs, and more, we are at such a disadvantage, but we will win anyway!”

It’s not clear which ad triggered sent him over the edge, but several anti-Trump groups have recently bought airtime on Fox and have been running spots critical of him and his supporters in Congress, knowing that he’ll see them.

Progressive PAC MeidasTouch said it was one of their spots, airing on the right-wing network in the market where Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort is located that triggered the former president.

The conservative anti-Trump group ‘The Lincoln Project’ also said one of their adverts might have got to Trump’s head. Co-founder Rick Wilson told Mediaite that the group regularly runs adverts that are meant to be seen by Trump on Mar-a-Lago area cable, hoping to provoke a reaction.
