Longtime civil rights activist and actor George Takei appeared to have had enough of Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and decided to call her out on Twitter Friday night.
Takei was responding to a tweet by Boebert where she said she would be calling President Joe Biden to lower flags to half-staff to honor deceased right-wing talk radio personality Rush Limbaugh.
“I’m calling on Joe Biden to order flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of Rush Limbaugh,” Boebert posted to Twitter.
Takei was having none of it.
“You shouldn’t be calling on anyone except your lawyer, given your questionable campaign travel reimbursements which just happened to be enough to pay the tax liens you owed,” he wrote.
“Sit down,” Takei added.
