Trump Invokes ‘Veto Power’ To Keep Presidency

Ron Delancer

President Donald Trump on Wednesday urged Vice President Mike Pence to reject the electoral college results and declare him president again because the country needs his “veto power.”

In a series of tweets, Trump claimed that Pence can send the results back to the states and have the Republican legislature in those states decide the election in his favor, despite the fact that Pence has no authority to do so.

“States want to correct their votes, which they now know were based on irregularities and fraud, plus corrupt process never received legislative approval. All Mike Pence has to do is send them back to the States, AND WE WIN. Do it Mike, this is a time for extreme courage!” Trump tweeted.

The president also claimed that his “veto power” is needed more than ever before.

While at it, he couldn’t hold his urge to spread more conspiracy theories about the election.
