Donald Trump falsely claimed at his latest rally in Ohio that the coronavirus “affects virtually nobody” despite the US death toll from the pandemic due to pass 200,000.
He said that the virus “only affects the elderly” and that young people don’t die from the illness as his followers cheered his comments on Monday night.
The crowd also chanted “fill that seat” as he addressed the death of Supreme Court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, whom he has pledged to replace despite Democratic uproar.
