The Kenosha Police Department appeared to send the same message Donald Trump did after white supremacists murdered an innocent bystander in Charlottesville just a few years ago. According to the city’s law enforcement officials, the people that were killed by a militiaman should not have been out in the first place.
On Wednesday, the Kenosha Police Department gave a press conference about the shooting by 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse that left two protesters dead, saying that “everyone involved was out after curfew.”
People were outraged by the department’s excuse.
