Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) took to Twitter over the weekend to share his thoughts on Donald Trump’s decision to commute his former campaign associate Roger Stone.

Graham’s tweet came before Trump officially reduced Stone’s sentencing, but nonetheless, he decided to defend Trump’s decision.

He first claimed that Trump’s decision is justified because Stone is in his 70s – which he’s not, he’s 67 – and that he’s a first time offender.

“In my view it would be justified if President @realDonaldTrump decided to commute Roger Stone’s prison sentence. Mr. Stone is in his 70s and this was a non-violent, first-time offense,” Graham tweeted.

He then decided to push it even further by pushing conspiracy theories about Robert Mueller’s investigation.

“Equally important: Over time we learn how biased and corrupt Crossfire Hurricane and the Mueller probes were.”

It’s a shame that an elected leader will do anything to bow down to a corrupt president. But then again, it’s Lindsey Graham and we can’t expect any better from him. I say they should all resign.
