President Donald Trump on Tuesday Slammed Congressional Democrats for demanding a fair senate trial, insisting that Democrats don’t have a right to expect “fairness in the Senate” after “treated us very unfairly” by passing articles of impeachment.
The president also reminded everyone that “We have the majority now.”
“We have the majority now they want [Mitch] McConnell to do wonderful things for them,” Trump wrote on Twitter, before adding, “they treated us very unfairly and now they want fairness in the Senate.”
Trump made the remarks while vacationing at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
