Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky didn’t just wear a suit to the Oval Office — he used it to shut down a right-wing reporter with a cold, cutting one-liner.
During Monday’s meeting with Donald Trump at the White House, Real America’s Voice reporter Brian Glenn — known for lobbing partisan attacks and dating Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene — found himself on the receiving end of Zelensky’s sharp tongue.
Earlier this year, Glenn confronted Zelensky during a previous visit, mocking him for wearing military fatigues. “You’re at the highest level in this country’s office, and you refuse to wear a suit,” Glenn told him in the Oval Office.
But this time, Zelensky walked in wearing a blazer — and Glenn, clearly trying to save face, complimented his look: “You look fabulous.”
Trump, sitting nearby, didn’t let the moment pass. “He’s the one that attacked you last time,” he told Zelensky, referring to Glenn.
“I remember that,” Zelensky replied calmly.
“I apologize to you,” Glenn offered, attempting to defuse the tension.
Then came the kill shot.
Zelensky, barely breaking a smile, glanced at Glenn’s outfit and delivered the brutal line: “The same suit.”
He added with a smirk, “I changed,” drawing laughs from the room and completely flipping the script on his critic.
Meanwhile, Greene rushed to defend her boyfriend online. In a post on X, she claimed credit for Zelensky’s wardrobe upgrade: “If Brian had never asked Zelenskyy the question, ‘why don’t you wear a suit, do you own a suit?’ I’m not sure he would have ever worn one to visit our great and respected President!!”
