Derrick Evans, a newly elected West Virginia lawmaker, was charged this week for participating in the violent takeover of the U.S. Capitol.

According to reports, the Justice Department filed unlawful entry charges Friday against the West Virginia Republican after he filmed himself and other supporters of Donald Trump storming the Capitol to protest President-elect Joe Biden’s election win.
