Donald Trump appeared to suggest that the coronavirus is a thing of the past while speaking to reporters on Friday after claiming that “we’re back.”
Trump said the following:
“I want to make one thing clear. It’s very important. Vaccine or no vaccine, we’re back.”
He goes on to claim that we haven’t had a virus like COVID-19 since “1917,” which I assume he’s referring to the Spanish Flu which happened in 1918.
Trump also appeared to suggest that people will grow immune to the coronavirus “or maybe not.” But despite the death tolls continuing to rise, Trump claims that “we’re back.”
