Donald Trump argued on Friday that places of worship should be deemed “essential” and should be opened immediately, despite being in the middle of a pandemic.
Trump spoke to reporters at the White House on Friday and claimed that he would be “overriding” governors who choose not to open their churches by this weekend. “If they don’t do it, I will override the governors,” Trump said.
Reporters were not able to ask questions as Trump just stormed off after making giving his comments.
