Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, of Wisconsin, was the recipient of endless mockery during Wednesday’s edition of MSNBC’s ” Morning Joe” for demanding proof that Donald Trump did not win the election.
Johnson called on Attorney General William Barr to “show everybody” the proof that the election had not been stolen after Barr announced the Department of Justice had found no evidence of voter fraud.
“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough responded by labeling Johnson “the dumbest senator ever.”
“The man Guinness Book of World Records has called the dumbest senator to ever be sworn in in this constitutional republic,” Scarborough said. “I’m speaking, of course, of Ron Johnson, who said that William Barr must show his evidence that he has no evidence.”
“‘Mr. Attorney General, you must prove a negative,’” Scarborough continued. “Seriously, the stupidity makes my teeth hurt,” he added.
