Donald Trump continued to threaten Republican leaders on Friday. Shortly after sending a threatening tweet to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, urging him to help him overturn the 2020 presidential election results, Trump also went after Georgia GOP Governor Brian Kemp.
He reissued his demand for Kemp to call the Georgia legislature back into session to call for an audit of mail-in ballot signatures, which only the secretary or state can do and which cannot be performed without throwing out all the challenged votes.
“Governor @BrianKempGA of Georgia still has not called a Special Session,” Trump tweeted. “So easy to do, why is he not doing it? It will give us the State. MUST ACT NOW!”
