Donald Trump on Saturday evening blasted the United States as a “stupid” country while rising Russian dictator Vladimir Putin for invading Ukraine during a raucous speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.
In his rambling address to GOP supporters, Trump attacked President Joe Biden for the Russian aggression and claimed the invasion would not have happened with him in office.
Ironically, Trump called Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy “a brave man” for “hanging in.”
The former president also repeated, without evidence, that the 2020 election was “stolen” from him. “We did it twice, and we’ll do it again,” he said, once again teasing his presidential bid.
He then turned to blast Biden painting a complete distortion of reality.
“You could take the five worst presidents in history, and they wouldn’t have done the damage President Joe Biden has done in such a short time,” Trump said before claiming that the streets are “drenched in blood,” and that a “radical left zealot” has been nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Trump concluded by thanking some of the most infamous characters in today’s Republican Party including Marjorie Taylor Greene, Jim Jordan, Matt Gaetz, and MyPillow guy Mike Lindell.
