President Donald Trump stumbled on Sunday as he boarded Air Force One, catching himself mid-fall in a moment that quickly drew attention.
Trump, known for mocking President Joe Biden over similar stumbles, lost his footing while climbing the plane’s stairs after speaking with reporters.
The slip came just minutes after Trump and Senator Marco Rubio addressed the press. As Trump turned to climb the steps, he missed a step and lurched forward. He managed to steady himself before falling completely.
Rubio, following closely behind, also tripped on the same steps but managed to regain balance quickly.
The brief sequence is especially striking given Trump’s past jabs at Biden. He once said, “How do you trip going up the stairs?” after Biden was seen stumbling in 2021.
Now the tables have turned. Trump’s knees gave way, and the cameras caught it.
