During a rally in Michigan on Tuesday, Donald Trump lashed out at the state’s governor and suggested that the militia that attempted to kidnap and kill Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI) wasn’t a big problem.
“People are entitled to say maybe it was a problem, maybe it wasn’t,” Trump told his supporters, referring to the kidnapping plot.

Whitmer herself wrote an op-ed on Tuesday, blaming Trump for the plot against her.
