Many people have questioned Donald Trump’s mental capacity to actually run the United States of America. Many have even questioned if he even understands the U.S. Constitution. Now, according to a new book, Trump might not have the mental capacity to even read the Constitution.
Washington Post reporters Philip Rucker and Carol Leonnig have a new book about the Trump presidency, “A Very Stable Genius,” that is based on hundreds of hours of interviews with more than 200 sources, and much of it backed by documentary evidence.
According to the book, Trump had agreed early in his presidency to participate in an HBO documentary series that would feature judges, lawmakers and all the living presidents reading aloud from the Constitution.
The book revealed that Trump had a very hard time reading from the Constitution. he would struggle and stumble over words.
“It’s like a foreign language,” he complained, according to the book.
