President Donald Trump on Wednesday continued his Twitter tirade against Georgia election officials, labeling them “terrible people” for what he calls a “slow walk” in the ballot signature verification process.
“They are slow walking the signature verification in Georgia. They don’t want results to get out prior to January 6th. They know what they are trying so hard to hide. Terrible people!” Trump wrote before singling out Governor Brian Kemp.
President-elect Joe Biden won by more than 70 electoral votes, and attempts by Trump and his allies to overturn the election in courts have been unsuccessful.
The president’s refusal to concede has also complicated the time frame for a proper transition of power.
