Donald Trump started Memorial Day with a furious social media rant aimed at Democrats, President Joe Biden, and federal judges, calling them “SCUM” and blaming them for crime, immigration, and the state of the country.

Just before 7 a.m. on Monday, the president posted the all-caps tirade on Truth Social:

“HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL, INCLUDING THE SCUM THAT SPENT THE LAST FOUR YEARS TRYING TO DESTROY OUR COUNTRY THROUGH WARPED RADICAL LEFT MINDS, WHO ALLOWED 21,000,000 MILLION PEOPLE TO ILLEGALLY ENTER OUR COUNTRY, MANY OF THE BEING CRIMINALS AND THE MENTAO INSANE…”

He continued attacking Biden and the courts:

“…THROUGH AN OPEN BORDER THAT ONLY AN INCOMPETENT PRESIDENT WOULD APPROVE, AND THROUGH JUDGES WHO ARE ON A MISSION TO KEEP MURDERERS, DRUG DEALERS, RAPISTS, GANG MEMBERS, AND RELEASED PRISONERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD, IN OUR COUNTRY…”
“…PROTECTED BY THESE USA HATING JUDGES WHO SUFFER FROM AN IDEOLOGY THAT IS SICK, AND VERY DANGEROUS FOR OUR COUNTRY.”

He ended the rant with a call to the courts:

“HOPEFULLY THE UNITED STATES SUPREME COURT, AND OTHER GOOD AND COMPASSIONATE JUDGES THROUGHOUT THE LAND, WILL SAVE US FROM THE DECISIONS OF THE MONSTERS WHO WANT OUR COUNTRY TO GO TO HELL.”

Minutes later, the post was deleted. In its place: a quiet, generic “HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!”

But Trump wasn’t done. He reposted the original message—this time with typos cleaned up and an extra line tacked on:

“BUT FEAR NOT, WE HAVE MADE GREAT PROGRESS OVER THE LAST 4 MONTHS, AND AMERICA WILL SOON BE SAFE AND GREAT AGAIN! AGAIN, HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY, AND GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
The unhinged post came just hours after Trump took a shot at Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday night, calling him “absolutely crazy” following a deadly missile strike on Kyiv, Ukraine.

Instead of using Memorial Day to honor fallen U.S. troops, Trump chose to rage online—first deleting, then doubling down on a post that had nothing to do with sacrifice, service, or the meaning of the day.
