Donald Trump has a new bruise—this time on his left hand.
The 79-year-old president was seen golfing at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia on Saturday, where a new dark mark was clearly visible on the back of his left hand. The video, posted to Instagram by Kacy Clemens, son of former MLB pitcher Roger Clemens, captured the bruise as Trump looked out over the course.
It matches the placement of a similar bruise on his right hand, which has been visible for months. This time, the mark wasn’t covered with makeup. His right hand, however, appeared to be carefully concealed again—likely with cosmetics, as in previous sightings.
Despite repeated questions, the Trump camp isn’t offering a clear answer.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt didn’t deny the bruise when asked. Instead, she said: “President Trump is a man of the people and he meets more Americans and shakes their hands on a daily basis than any other President in history. His commitment is unwavering and he proves that every single day.”
That explanation echoes what Leavitt said months ago, when the first bruise showed up on Trump’s right hand. She blamed it on constant handshaking.
Trump, who played alongside the Clemens duo and the club’s Director of Golf John O’Leary, finished dead last in the foursome, according to Roger Clemens’ scorecard.
This new mark has only added fuel to growing concerns about Trump’s health.
The bruise discovery comes not long after the White House revealed that Trump has Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI)—a condition that affects blood flow in the legs.
Leavitt once promised she’d “look into” having Trump’s doctor face questions directly. That hasn’t happened.
Trump, for his part, hasn’t addressed any of it. When asked by reporters in the Oval Office on Friday, he dodged—literally—using awkward hand movements to block his right hand from view.
Now, with matching bruises on both hands, and no straightforward explanation, the question looms larger: What’s really going on with Donald Trump’s health?
