Fred Trump III, nephew of former President Donald Trump, has leveled a series of serious allegations against his uncle, describing him as “atomic crazy” and accusing him of committing “really horrific things.”

In an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” which aired Tuesday, Fred Trump claimed the Trump family dynamic is “complex and sometimes cruel.” He criticized his uncle’s behavior, suggesting it reflects deeply troubling patterns.

Fred Trump is promoting his new book, “All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way,” which delves into previously undisclosed aspects of the Trump family and Fred’s fraught relationship with the former president.

When pressed about his description of Trump as “atomic crazy,” Fred Trump detailed instances that have left him unsettled and questioning his uncle’s behavior. He recounted times when Trump made comments about people with disabilities, including a phone call where Trump allegedly suggested that Fred’s son, who has developmental disabilities, should “just die.”

“He said, ‘Your son doesn’t recognize you. Let him die and move to Florida,’” Fred Trump said fighting to hold back tears. “My response was, ‘No Donald. He does recognize me.’”

Fred Trump expressed disappointment at the alleged remarks, calling them “sad” and reflecting a change in his uncle’s character.

Trump’s communications director, Steven Cheung, quickly rebutted the claims. In a statement to ABC News, Cheung labeled the allegations as “completely fabricated” and “total fake news,” asserting that President Trump would never use such language.

The book also touches on allegations of racism. Fred Trump recounted an incident from his childhood where he claims to have heard his uncle using a racial slur. According to Fred, Trump used the slur in frustration after discovering damage to his car.

Trump has denied using such language during his time on “The Apprentice” and has not publicly addressed these latest accusations.

Fred Trump did not definitively label his uncle as racist but suggested that Trump’s actions and words align with those of racist individuals. He stated, “I think he uses people, whether they’re Black or whoever can help him, and then he casts them aside once he gets what he needs.”

Despite these controversies, Fred Trump indicated he plans to support likely Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election, though he would still attend Trump’s inauguration if invited.
