Former President Donald Trump has launched a blistering attack on President Joe Biden in a raging social media post, riddled with accusations of falsehoods while mocking Biden’s recent debate performance.
In a fiery statement posted on Truth Social on Saturday, Trump ridiculed Biden’s debate showing and urged him to stay in the presidential race despite mounting doubts among Democrats.
“Crooked Joe Biden should ignore his many critics and move forward, with alacrity and strength, with his powerful and far reaching campaign,” Trump wrote in his post.
Trump’s call to action comes amid escalating tensions within Democratic circles following a lackluster debate performance by Biden last Thursday. Questions swirled within the party after Biden appeared hoarse and stumbled over his words during the CNN-hosted debate.

The debate fallout has seen five House Democrats publicly urging Biden to withdraw from the presidential race. Responding to queries about whether he would consider stepping aside, Biden emphasized in an interview with ABC on Friday, “If the Lord Almighty came down and said, ‘Joe, get out of the race,’ I’d get out of the race. The Lord Almighty’s not comin’ down.”
Despite mounting speculation, the White House and Biden’s supporters remain steadfast in their assurance that Biden is committed to staying in the race.
A recent fundraising email from Biden emphatically stated, “I’m the Democratic Party’s nominee. No one is pushing me out. I’m not leaving, I’m in this race to the end, and WE are going to win this election. If that’s all you need to hear, pitch in a few bucks to help [Vice President Harris] and me defeat Donald Trump in November.”
