Former President Donald Trump issued a series of fiery all-caps posts on social media Monday, intensifying his rhetoric against immigrants and Vice President Kamala Harris. Trump’s remarks targeted Harris’s debate performance and his legal troubles, blaming them for an alleged surge in hatred in the country.

In a lengthy and emphatic statement, Trump accused Harris of spreading “Communist Left Rhetoric” and called for the closure of U.S. borders, asserting that immigrants are “INVADING” and bringing “TERRORISTS AND CRIMINALS” into the country. He further claimed that immigrants are taking jobs from Black and Hispanic Americans, declaring: “OUR BORDERS MUST BE CLOSED, AND THE TERRORISTS, CRIMINALS, AND MENTALLY INSANE, IMMEDIATELY REMOVED FROM AMERICAN CITIES AND TOWNS, DEPORTED BACK TO THEIR COUNTRIES OF ORIGIN.”

In another post, Trump criticized Harris for allegedly undermining Black and Hispanic workers, suggesting that her policies are worsening job prospects for these communities. He urged his supporters to vote for him, branding November 5 as “THE MOST IMPORTANT DAY IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY.”

These statements came just a day after an unsettling incident at Trump’s golf club in Palm Beach, Florida. Ryan Wesley Routh, 58, was arrested after allegedly aiming an assault rifle in Trump’s direction while the former president was on the course.

Routh faces charges for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon and for having a firearm with an obliterated serial number. During the incident, a Secret Service agent fired a weapon, and Routh fled but was later apprehended with a loaded rifle and other items. He appeared in federal court in West Palm Beach, with his arraignment set for September 30. If convicted, Routh could face up to 20 years in prison, though further charges may be added as the investigation continues.
