Donald Trump Jr. got an earful from social media users who encouraged him to “flip” and start cooperating with prosecutors before his sister Ivanka Trump does it after he shared his father’s criminal denials on Twitter.
Don Jr’s tweet came after New York attorney general Letitia James’ office announced its investigation of Trump Organization was now criminal, as well as civil.
The former president responded by lashing out in a lengthy statement from his blog, which his namesake son tweeted out.
Other users mocked — and fact-checked — Trump Jr.’s attempt to get his father’s message out on the social media platform, which has banned the twice-impeached one-term president over his election lies that led to the Jan. 6 insurrection.
