Trump Fumbles Basic Grammar, Ends Up Conceding To Biden And Calling Himself ‘Very Stupid’ And ‘Corrupt’

On Saturday night, Donald Trump attempted to keep his false claims about the 2020 election results alive but fell victim to a double-negative of his own making, inadvertently stating that anyone who believes his “big lie” is stupid or corrupt, and thus conceding to President Biden.

“Anybody that doesn’t think there wasn’t massive Election Fraud in the 2020 Presidential Election is either very stupid, or very corrupt!” the grammatically-challenged former president said in a statement from his Save America PAC.

As expected, Twitter users noticed the mistake and mockery ensued.

“This… doesn’t say what Donald Trump thinks it does,” Politico reporter Kyle Cheney said in response.

CNN fact-checker Daniel Dale followed with a tweet saying: “This is, accidentally, Trump’s first ever accurate statement on the legitimacy of the 2020 election.”

“Former President Donald Trump is 100% correct,” wrote Daniel Drezner, a professor at Tufts University’s Fletcher School.
