In a furious outburst just after 1AM Sunday, Donald Trump launched another attack on Harvard University — this time demanding the names and nationalities of its students.
On his Truth Social account, the president ripped into the school over its stance against his attempt to shut down a student visa program, which had been temporarily blocked by a federal judge.
Trump slammed Harvard for defending foreign students in its legal challenge, which claimed that canceling the visa program was a “blatant violation of the First Amendment, the Due Process Clause, and the Administrative Procedure Act.”
He fired back: “Why isn’t Harvard saying that almost 31% of their students are from FOREIGN LANDS, and yet those countries, some not at all friendly to the United States, pay NOTHING toward their student’s education, nor do they ever intend to,” Trump wrote. “Nobody told us that!”
He then made a demand that sent shockwaves through the academic community: “We want to know who those foreign students are, a reasonable request since we give Harvard BILLIONS OF DOLLARS, but Harvard isn’t exactly forthcoming. We want those names and countries. Harvard has $52,000,000, use it, and stop asking for the Federal Government to continue GRANTING money to you!”

Trump’s rant marked a sharp escalation in his feud with elite universities. Critics say the demand for names raises privacy concerns and could put students at risk. But Trump’s allies see it as part of his ongoing battle against what he calls “woke” institutions.
For now, Harvard has not responded publicly to the tirade. But with the court fight still playing out, the heat between Trump and the Ivy League school is far from over.
