President Donald Trump unleashed a wild early morning rant on Truth Social Saturday, targeting political enemies with fiery accusations and all-caps rage.
In an extended post, Trump claimed there’s an even bigger scandal unfolding than what he still insists was a “rigged and stolen” 2020 election. He focused on the use of an “autopen” — a device that can sign documents — suggesting it’s tied to a massive cover-up.
“Whoever had control of the ‘AUTOPEN’ is looking to be a bigger and bigger scandal by the moment,” Trump wrote. “It is a major part of the real crime, THAT THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2020 WAS RIGGED AND STOLEN!”
He accused Democrats of running a smear campaign to bury the truth. “Millions and millions of people knew that, but the Radical Left Democrats waged a campaign of inoculation and innocence like none that had ever been waged before.”
Trump’s rant got even more explosive as he tore into the House January 6 Committee, calling them “POLITICAL THUGS” and claiming they destroyed evidence.
“THIS IS WHY THE UNSELECT COMMITTEE OF POLITICAL THUGS…DELETED AND DESTROYED ALL EVIDENCE AND INFORMATION FROM THEIR CORRUPT AND VICIOUS WITCH HUNT AGAINST ME,” he said. “AND MANY OTHER PEOPLE, WHOSE LIVES WERE COMPLETELY SHATTERED AND DESTROYED BY THIS HISTORICALLY CRIMINAL EVENT.”
He then brought up old grievances, accusing former FBI Director James Comey, President Barack Obama, and President Biden — who he mocked as “a hapless and cognitively impaired Sleepy Joe” — of spying on his campaign.
“Remember, it all began with DIRTY COP James Comey, Obama… and my now very famous ACCUSATION that, ‘THEY SPIED ON MY CAMPAIGN!'” Trump wrote.
Wrapping up the tirade, Trump doubled down on election fraud claims and declared the fight far from over. “THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION WAS RIGGED! I (MAGA!) WON THE ELECTION BY MILLIONS OF VOTES, AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT. GOD BLESS AMERICA, FOR THE FIGHT HAS JUST BEGUN!!!”
