In a fiery social media post over the weekend, former President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on Attorney General Letitia James, sharing a video dated 2019 in which James vowed to sue him.
In response to an interviewer’s question about suing Trump, James confidently declared, “I’ll definitely sue him, I’m going to be a real pain in the a–. He’s going to know my name personally.”
Currently, James is pursuing a lawsuit against Trump and his company, a case currently undergoing a fraud trial in New York. The presiding judge has already delivered a significant blow to Trump, holding him liable for fraud due to an alleged overvaluation of his real estate empire.
Taking to Truth Social, Trump frantically called for the immediate halt of what he termed a “Witch Hunt trial.”

He questioned Judge Arthur Engoron’s decision to allow the trial, which he labeled a “scam”, to continue. Trump also asserted a higher net worth than reflected in financial records and claimed a 100% DISCLAIMER CLAUSE as a shield against fraud allegations.
“How can Judge [Arthur] Engoron allow this scam to continue,” Trump ranted. “Also, I am worth much MORE than on Financials, and have 100% DISCLAIMER CLAUSE. Therefore, can’t be Fraud!!! END THIS FAKE $18,000,000 Mar-a-Lago TRIAL. A total miscarriage of justice!”
