On Tuesday, President Donald Trump visited a migrant detention center in the Florida Everglades — and used the moment to lash out at President Joe Biden.

During a tour of the facility — which Trump calls “Alligator Alcatraz” — he stood in front of a massive hall lined with metal cages and rows of bunk beds, meant to house migrants. That’s when he made a wild claim.

“Hey, Biden wanted me in here,” Trump said, pointing to the cages. “He wanted me [in here]. It didn’t work out, but he wanted me in here.” Standing beside him were Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, both of whom laughed at the comment.

Then, under his breath but clearly audible, Trump muttered, “That son of a bitch.”

The moment was caught on camera and quickly shared by his team on social media.

Earlier in the visit, Trump and Noem talked about going after CNN legally. They were angry over a report about a new app that tracks ICE agents, calling it dangerous. Trump also said CNN should face consequences for how it reported on U.S. airstrikes in Iran.
