During an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Donald Trump attacked Ted Wheeler (D), the mayor of Portland, Oregon, after he had gotten tear-gassed by federal agents.
“He made a fool out of himself,” Trump told Hannity, referring to how Wheeler was booed by protesters, before federal agents unleashed tear gas on the crowd, including Wheeler.
“He wanted to be among the people, so he went into the crowd, and so they knocked the hell out of him, so that was the end of him,” Trump said. “So that was pretty pathetic.”
