President Donald Trump on Saturday slammed the U.S. Supreme Court as “Incompetent” for not helping him overturn the 2020 election results.
“The U.S. Supreme Court has been totally incompetent and weak on the massive Election Fraud that took place in the 2020 Presidential Election,” Trump tweeted Saturday morning.
He added: “We have absolute PROOF, but they don’t want to see it – No “standing”, they say. If we have corrupt elections, we have no country!”
The Supreme Court this month rejected a bid from Texas’ attorney general and supported by Trump to block the ballots of millions of voters in battleground states that went in favor of President-elect Joe Biden.
The court’s order, issued with no public dissents, to dismiss the challenge is the strongest indication yet that Trump has no chance of overturning election results in court, and that even the justices whom he placed there have no interest in allowing his desperate legal bids to continue.
The president’s tweet comes as unemployment benefits for millions of Americans are set to expire, with no indication that he will sign the newly relief bill passed by Congress this week.
