President Donald Trump is pushing back on a viral video that shows large black trash bags being tossed from an upper window of the White House, insisting the footage is fake and blaming artificial intelligence.

The clip in question has been making rounds online, with viewers raising eyebrows at what looks like heavy bags being discreetly flung from a window in the residence section of the White House. The footage is grainy but clear enough to stir up questions. And when Fox News’ Peter Doocy confronted Trump about it, the former president wasted no time throwing cold water on the video’s legitimacy.

“That’s probably AI-generated,” Trump said flatly. “Actually, you can’t open the windows, you know why? They’re all heavily armored and bulletproof.”

Doocy pressed him further: “So that’s a fake video?”

“Well it’s got to be, because I know every window up there,” Trump replied. “The last place I’d be doing it is that, because there’s cameras all over the place, right, including yours.”

Trump even brought Melania into the story: “In fact my wife was complaining about it the other day, she said, love to have a little fresh air come in. But you can’t. They’re bulletproof. And number one, they’re sealed, and number two, each window weighs about 600 pounds. You’d have to be pretty strong to open them up.”

At that point, Doocy decided to show Trump the video directly on his phone.

“It looks like it’s on the 15th Street side, on the right hand?” Doocy asked.

“Yeah, those windows are sealed,” Trump repeated. “They’re all sealed, you can’t open them.” He doubled down on his AI theory, adding: “One of the problems we have with AI, it’s both good and bad. If something happens really bad, just blame AI … But those windows are heavily sealed.”

No explanation was offered about what might have actually been seen in the video — or who may have thrown the bag, if it wasn’t a CGI hoax. No investigation has been announced either, at least not publicly.

Despite Trump’s explanation, the clip remains a source of speculation and side-eye across social media, while the former president continues to point the finger at technology — not whoever might’ve had something to hide.
