During a tense exchange outside the White House on Tuesday, President Donald Trump made a stunning accusation when asked if his name appears in the Department of Justice’s Jeffrey Epstein files.
A reporter pressed Trump about comments made by his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, who had promised “more transparency” on the Epstein investigation—directly clashing with Attorney General Pam Bondi’s more cautious stance. Trump stood by Bondi, saying: “The Attorney General has handled that very well. She has really done a very good job.”
“I would like to see [transparency] also,” he added, but stressed that “credibility is very important.”
Then came the real moment of shock.
Another reporter asked Trump point-blank: “Did [Bondi] tell you at all that your name appeared in the [Epstein] files?”
Trump didn’t deny it directly. Instead, he deflected—and then launched into a bizarre conspiracy-laced rant.
“No, no,” Trump said. “She’s given us just a very quick briefing… I would say that these files were made up by Comey, they were made by Obama, they were made up by the Biden [administration].”
He continued by linking the files to the Russia investigation: “We went through years of that with the Russia Russia Russia hoax, with all of the different things that we had to go through. We’ve gone through years of it.”
Trump’s statement raised eyebrows—especially his explosive claim that the Epstein files were “made up” by “Obama,” “Comey,” and “the Biden administration.” No evidence was provided.
As for what comes next, Trump left it up to Bondi: “She’s handled it very well, and it’s going to be up to her,” he said. “Whatever she thinks is credible she should release.”
The exchange quickly went viral—fueled by the Trump’s refusal to give a clear yes or no on whether his name appears in the Epstein files, and his jaw-dropping accusations against three political rivals. Watch the full clip via Fox News.
