Donald Trump continues to push the false narrative that mail-in voting amounts to a large number of voter fraud cases. That is just not true.
On Thursday night, Trump claimed that California is “sending ballots to anyone who is breathing.” That claim was quickly shut down by ABC News reporter John Karl.
Karl confronted Trump by telling him that California was only sending ballots to registered voters. But instead of acknowledging Karl, Trump slipped into a rant claiming that children were going into mailboxes and stealing those ballots to commit voter fraud.
