President Donald Trump exploded on Truth Social Monday after another failed attempt to hold a nationwide conference call with religious supporters — and he’s pointing the finger at AT&T.
“I’m doing a major Conference Call with Faith Leaders from all over the Country, and AT&T is totally unable to make their equipment work properly,” Trump wrote, slamming the telecom giant.
Trump said this isn’t the first time it’s happened — and he’s had enough.
“This is the second time it’s happened. If the Boss of AT&T, whoever that may be, could get involved — It would be good,” Trump added. “There are tens of thousands of people on the line!”
The call was supposed to be a big moment with MAGA-aligned evangelical leaders. Instead, it turned into a mess. Trump said the delay was so bad, he’d likely have to reschedule — and next time, use a different company.
“I apologize for the long wait on the Faith Leaders Conference Call. AT&T ought to get its act together,” he said. “Please pass along the word to the tens of thousands of people who are there. We may have to reschedule the call, but we’ll use another carrier the next time. AT&T obviously doesn’t know what they’re doing!”
No word yet from AT&T.
