‘The Base Will Turn and There’s No Going Back’: MTG Issues Stark Ultimatum to Trump Over Epstein Cover-Up

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has sent a loud and clear warning to Donald Trump: Stop dodging the Epstein files—or risk losing your most loyal supporters.

Trump has tried to downplay questions about Jeffrey Epstein and the powerful people connected to him. He’s called the renewed attention on the case a “hoax” and blamed “radical left lunatics” for stirring the pot. But it’s not just the left asking questions—his own MAGA base is demanding answers.

Now, Greene is publicly pressuring Trump to come clean—or face the fallout.

“If you tell the base of people, who support you, of deep state treasonous crimes, election interference, blackmail, and rich, powerful elite evil cabals, then you must take down every enemy of The People,” Greene posted Monday on X.

She warned Trump that throwing out vague promises or bits of information won’t cut it anymore.

“If not. The base will turn and there’s no going back. Dangling bits of red meat no longer satisfies. They want the whole steak dinner and will accept nothing else.”

Her comments come just days after Trump promised to push for the release of grand jury transcripts related to the Epstein case. But Greene clearly isn’t buying it.

This isn’t the first time Greene has taken Trump to task. Earlier this month, she slammed his decision to send weapons to Ukraine. Now, she’s doubling down on Epstein.

“It’s just a red line that it crosses for many people: Jeffrey Epstein is literally the most well-known, convicted pedophile in modern-day history,” Greene told CNN.

“There needing to be transparency of the rich and powerful elites that were in his circle while he was just one of the worst serial abusers of young women.”

She echoed that frustration on X: “The line is drawn with anyone who abuses children and vulnerable innocent people. When George Santos is going to prison for 7 years but Epstein only served 13 months, our justice system is CORRUPT!!!”

Despite being one of Trump’s loudest defenders, Greene told The New York Times last week: “I don’t accept it, and I don’t think anyone else should accept it.”

But Greene’s critics say she’s all talk.

Last week, the House narrowly voted down a motion that would have forced the Trump administration to release more Epstein files. Greene voted against it. The bill failed by one vote—211 to 210.

Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell didn’t hold back.

“As predicted. Completely full of s—. @RepMTG votes to keep Epstein Files buried,” he wrote on X. “After posting nonsense tweet saying she wants them released.”

Greene hasn’t responded. The White House also declined to comment.
