Susan Collins Votes With GOP Against Witnesses, Then Claims She Wants Witnesses

Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), who claimed that she would “likely” vote to have witnesses at Donald Trump’s impeachment trial, voted down the measure to guarantee witnesses would be heard so that the House of Representatives can try the case of impeachment against the President.

While Collins did vote against witnesses at the moment, she claims that when the time comes she will most “likely support witnesses.”
