Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene isn’t interested in hearing from critics, and she made that crystal clear ahead of her town hall in Cobb County, Georgia. The far-right congresswoman took to X (formerly Twitter) to send a warning to any of her constituents thinking of protesting.

“You need to understand this is not a place to protest,” she said. “This isn’t a place to stand up and scream and yell. This is a place to sit and listen.”

Greene added: “If you’re planning to act up, scream, and protest, you’re going to be thrown out, and that’s the way it goes.”

She then accused Democrats of organizing and funding protests at Republican town halls across the country, saying she had no patience for it.

“We know how the Democrat Party is organizing and funding these protests for Republican town halls all across America, and I’m just going to tell you, I don’t tolerate it,” she said.

Greene also framed her stance as a reflection of the national political mood.

“America voted for Trump,” she declared in the accompanying video. “They voted for Republicans to be in charge of Congress and the Senate, and they have both voted to put America first, and that’s exactly what we’re doing.”
