A stunning claim from author Michael Wolff is raising eyebrows after he suggested Melania Trump may be quietly plotting against Donald Trump — using her own public remarks to undercut him.
In a video posted Friday, Wolff tore into Melania’s recent remarks about her past interactions with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, saying her version of events doesn’t line up with what’s already known.
Melania acknowledged attending social events where Epstein was present but insisted she was never friends with him or his longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.
However, Wolff argued that her statement “contradicts much of the evidence” and even Epstein’s own past comments — raising fresh questions about why she chose to speak out now.
The timing, he suggested, may not be accidental. Wolff pointed to his ongoing legal battle with the first lady, revealing that he sued her after she allegedly threatened him with a staggering $1 billion lawsuit over his reporting on her alleged ties to Epstein.
“We know that she’s unhappy about my lawsuit,” Wolff said, before floating a more provocative theory: that Melania’s public denial could be aimed at influencing — or even intimidating — the judge overseeing the case.
“It’s a Trump judge,” he added, implying potential political undertones.
But Wolff didn’t stop there.
In a striking moment, he speculated that Melania’s motivations could be far more personal — and far more explosive.
“Perhaps the obvious point might just be that she hates her husband,” he said bluntly.
According to Wolff, Melania may blame Trump for dragging her into the Epstein scandal in the first place — and now sees his continued legal and political baggage as a threat to her own image.
“She’s getting out in front of a story,” he said, suggesting she could be positioning herself ahead of potential new revelations.
Wolff went even further, claiming her comments could be interpreted as a signal to investigators — particularly if political power shifts in Washington.
“In a way, what she’s doing is saying… investigate the son of a b—-,” he said.
The explosive remarks underscore the ongoing fallout from Epstein’s vast network of powerful connections — and hint at deepening fractures inside Trump’s inner circle as scrutiny intensifies once again.
