Putin Banned From World Economic Forum In Davos

The World Economic Forum announced it’s freezing all its relations with Russian entities and has banned the country’s dictator Vladimir Putin from the annual meeting of elites in Davos following the invasion of Ukraine, The Associated Press reported via Huffington Post.

The forum “will not engage with any sanctioned individual or institution in any of our activities, including the annual meeting,” the international organization said, according to AP.

Russia and Belarus were also suspended Thursday from the Northern Dimension, which includes the European Union, Iceland and Norway, the report says.
