Pre-Dawn Meltdown: Trump Explodes at ‘Nasty’ ABC News Anchor For Calling Out His Racist Slurs Against Harris

Donald Trump launched a furious attack early Tuesday after an ABC News anchor criticized his racial remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris.

In a Truth Social post just after midnight, Trump targeted George Stephanopoulos, blasting him for his handling of an interview with a Florida Republican who defended Trump’s controversial comments on Harris’ race.

Trump also criticized Stephanopoulos for his interview style with President Biden, calling it overly accommodating, and denounced him as part of “ABC FAKE NEWS.” He claimed that despite Stephanopoulos’ efforts, Biden remained unimpressive.

Trump’s anger toward the media has intensified recently, particularly after facing tough questions at the National Association of Black Journalists convention. His responses to those questions were widely criticized as racist.

ABC News has been a major source of frustration for Trump, especially after correspondent Rachel Scott questioned him about his previous comments suggesting that Black lawmakers should “go back where they came from” and his derogatory descriptions of Black prosecutors.

On Monday, Trump reiterated his disdain for Scott during a live stream with influencer Adin Ross, calling her “nasty.”

Early Tuesday, Trump shifted his ire to Stephanopoulos, who had pressed Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) to address Trump’s comments on Harris’ race. Stephanopoulos challenged Donalds for repeating Trump’s slurs, which Trump seized upon to criticize the interview.

Trump also mocked Stephanopoulos for his questioning style, contrasting it with what he described as favorable treatment of Biden. He claimed Donalds effectively dismissed Stephanopoulos’s questions.

In a follow-up post, Trump labeled Harris as a “coward” and criticized her for avoiding a debate he had proposed. He asserted that a debate with Harris on Fox News would be easier than one with Biden.

“Kamabla Harris is afraid,” Trump wrote. “She’ll be easier to defeat than Crooked Joe Biden—just watch!”
