Fox News reporter Peter Doocy caused a stir online on Tuesday after sharply criticizing President Donald Trump’s economic policies during a White House press briefing. The exchange took place during a press briefing when Doocy questioned White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt about the impact of the administration’s efforts to reform the government on federal workers’ retirement plans.
“Is there any concern here that it’s going to be harder to ask certain federal workers to retire if they look at their retirement accounts and they’re getting rocked every day?” Doocy asked.

“We also expect the White House to try to reassure folks who are sitting there looking at their 401(k)s going down and down and down,” he said. “This is a White House that came in trying to get federal workers to retire by the hundreds of thousands.”
